Investor Levels

Class A - $1,500 - Major Attractions or any other business type wishing to invest at this level.

Class B - $360 - Attractions, Events, Restaurants, Vineyards, Breweries, Farm Markets, Gift/Antique/Retail Shops, Outfitters/Stables, Golf Courses, Shopping Centers, Educational Institutions, Chamber of Commerce, Towns.

Class C - $600 – Tourism Offices (DMOs/CVBs)

Class D – $360 - Specialty Lodging - Bed & Breakfast, Campgrounds, Cabins, Cottages, Individual Vacation Rentals

Class D – $420 - Traditional Lodging - Hotels, Motels, Inns, Multiple Property Rentals (add-on properties 1-2 at full price; 3-5 $300 each; 6+ $250 each)

Class E - $50 - Patron - Individuals interested in supporting the mission of SVTA.

Class F - $250 - Associate - Travel agencies/tour operators, publishers, commercial printers, graphic/web design firms, PR/marketing agencies, brochure distribution services, travel industry service providers, real estate agencies, and financial institutions. 

 

Benefits of Investment

All investors are afforded the following benefits:

  • Custom-designed web page on VisitShenandoah.org, the official site of the Shenandoah Valley with more than 175,170 unique visitors and over 700,000 page views annually.
  • Listing in the SVTA Shenandoah Valley Destination Guide, with 150,000 in print and online distribution through an e-guide. The publication is supported by a robust distribution program, statewide and nationally. Listings vary as indicated below by investment levels:
    •         Class A - 600 characters, including spaces. 
    • Class B - 240 characters, including spaces.
    • Class C - 480 characters, including spaces. 
    • Class D / Specialty - 240 characters, including spaces.
    • Class D / Traditional - 240 characters, including spaces.
    • Class F - 240 characters, including spaces.
  • Representation at the annual American Bus Association Marketplace. Leads provided to DMOs via mysvta.org member site.  Investors can request leads from their local DMOs.
  • A comprehensive social/PR media calendar incorporating Virginia Tourism themes. Highlights include featured events, attractions, and destinations promoted via Facebook tile ads, online banner ads, and media pitches. 
  • Representation via the Destination Guide at 12 consumer trade shows reaching over 1.1 million potential travelers. 
  • Cooperative advertising opportunities. 
  • Networking and educational opportunities through SVTA meetings and events. 
  • SVTA VIP Attraction Card(s) (valued over $550). Number of cards varies based on member level: 
    • Class A (6), Class B (2), Class C (3), Class D (2), Class E (1), and Class F (2).
