Please join us on Thursday, June 8, 2017, for a fantastic Summer Membership Meeting. A chance to network and meet fellow SVTA members, enjoy the ambiance of the newly renovated Hotel Laurance, and hear industry insights by guest speaker Mark Brown, U.S. Department of Commerce. His topic:
International Travel Trends
to the USA and Virginia
Mr. Brown will share some of the latest research data and policy issues relevant for the U.S. and Virginia travel industry. Topics include the growing importance of international travel to most destinations, the outlook for global travel and to the USA, top origin markets for the USA and Virginia, and latest policy issues. All in a super fun* quiz format.

Guest Speaker – Mark Brown/Economist, U.S. Department of Commerce, National Travel and Tourism Office 
Mark has been with NTTO for 11 years and has a background in economic development, marketing research, and travel & tourism promotion and research. He also spent 8 years as Research Director for the Virginia Tourism Corporation.
